We tend to think of furniture as something complete.

But in reality, it is always part of something ongoing. An idea taking form. A material finding its role. A dialogue between designer, craftsperson, and user that continues over time.

This is where we linger a little longer. On the process, the details, and the thinking behind the objects. We share these stories openly—what we discover, question, and refine - because the story of making is not something to keep to oneself.

Stories from the workshop, from collaborations, and from the many paths an idea can take before it becomes something you can sit in, gather around, or live with.

The fact that Cube is produced by hand is clearly evident, as no two vases are completely identical. This applies not least to the way the colours appear. There is something archaic about Cube. The sense of a fleeting moment in time turned solid and eternal. This has to do with several of the vase’s aspects: its simple shape, and the glass itself, as a material, yielded from an interaction of the basic elements of fire, air, earth and water.
