Manufaktur
Fogia Manufaktur makes it possible to make bespoke products, with full control and highest quality - from idea to a final product.
Fogia Manufaktur is a bespoke furniture service that includes design, product development and manufacturing. The aim is to make it easier for designers, interior designers, and architects to translate their ideas into furniture pieces, crafted by skilled artisans using first-class materials. “Having our own factory in Europe, and even our own sawmill, is essential, of course. But Fogia Manufaktur isn’t just a manufacturing service. We also help our clients develop the products, which is an important part of our offering,” says Marcus Huber, CEO, Fogia.
We work in close collaboration with our clients to make furniture pieces that are faithful to their ideas, and that add just the right character to the environments for which they are intended. What types of spaces are Fogia Manufaktur’s furniture intended for? “It could be hotels, and restaurants, as well as museums, universities, libraries, and retail spaces. Essentially, all types of environments where it is important for the furniture to provide exactly the right functions and to contribute to the right atmosphere,” explains Nick Baddeley, International Sales Director, Fogia.
How does a project begin? “You can come to us with a list of specifications, a sketch, or an idea. Together with the client, our product developers and engineers turn initial thoughts and aspirations into a feasible project. Depending on the challenges presented by the project, we may also invite one of our designers to participate in the process,” says Marcus Huber. The furniture is manufactured at our own production facility outside Gdansk, Poland. We prefer to work from scratch, close to the materials we use, and close to our suppliers. Our facility consists of a sawmill, workshops for wood working, and studios for fabric cutting, sewing, and upholstering. Most of the work is not done by machines but by the skilled hands and attentive eyes of our craftspeople.

Fogia Manufaktur is part of a long tradition of furniture making. This equips us not only with the skills to solve our customers’ problems in a conventional way. It also enables us to challenge habitual ways of thinking and working. Progressive ideas require progressive solutions.
