Digital Accessibility

Design is, at its core, about how something is used. Not only how it looks, but how it feels to move through, understand, and return to. We believe the same should be true for our digital spaces. Our website is designed to be accessible to as many people as possible—regardless of ability, technology, or situation. This is an ongoing process, shaped by both technical standards and human experience.

How accessible is our website?

We aim to meet the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.

This means, among other things, that we work to ensure that:

  • Content is perceivable and structured in a clear way

  • Navigation is consistent and usable with a keyboard

  • Text contrast is sufficient and readable

  • Images include alternative descriptions where relevant

  • The website works with assistive technologies such as screen readers

At the same time, accessibility is not a fixed state. It is something we continue to test, question, and improve.

Known limitations

We are aware that parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible.
For example:

  • Some older content may lack complete alternative text

  • Certain interactive elements may not behave optimally with assistive technologies

  • Documents such as PDFs may not fully meet accessibility standards

We are continuously reviewing and updating these areas as part of our ongoing work.

What we are doing to improve accessibility

Accessibility is part of how we build – not something added at the end.

We are:

  • Reviewing our website regularly against WCAG guidelines

  • Improving structure, labelling, and navigation

  • Working with designers and developers to integrate accessibility into new features from the start

  • Updating older content where possible

In other words, we approach accessibility in the same way we approach furniture making: through iteration, care, and attention to detail.

If something doesn’t work

Despite our efforts, something may not work as expected. If you experience any difficulties using our website, we would very much like to hear from you. Your feedback helps us understand what needs to be improved.

If possible, include:

  • The page you visited

  • What you were trying to do
