Jord Lounge Chair
“Jord” is the Swedish word for “ground” and “earth.” The name highlights a sofa designed with a distinctly low, grounded presence, contributing to its relaxed character.
About
Jord is a low lounge chair with a generous seat depth, extending gently into the room while maintaining a grounded presence. Designed by Luca Nichetto, it carries the same relaxed character as the original concept, now distilled into a more intimate scale – made for one, yet open in its expression.

The designer / Luca Nichetto
Luca Nichetto is an Italian designer whose work brings together expressive forms and a careful understanding of materials and production. Born in Venice and educated at IUAV, he began his career working with Murano glass, developing an appreciation for craftsmanship and the possibilities of making.
Today, working between Italy and Sweden, Nichetto draws on different design traditions without being confined by either. His approach combines experimentation with technical precision, creating objects where character, comfort and construction are closely connected.
