Comfort does not always mean sinking in. Sometimes, it means being held in place. Designed by Stefan Borselius, Tondo is shaped for an upright and attentive way of sitting. A chair that supports the body without asking it to disappear into softness. Its form moves between clarity and softness. Clean lines define the structure, while gentle curves meet the body, creating a balance that feels both composed and inviting. There is a quiet precision to how the chair is put together. The frame gives a sense of stability, while the seat and backrest offer support without excess. Nothing is added without purpose, yet nothing feels reduced.

The designer / Stefan Borselius
Stefan Borselius is a Swedish designer recognized for his technically inventive and character-driven approach to furniture design. Educated at HDK – Academy of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg, he developed an early fascination with construction, mechanics and industrial production — elements that continue to shape his practice. For Borselius, technical challenges are not limitations but starting points for expression.
