Variations in grain, markings, pattern, and colour tone are part of the material’s nature, meaning that every chair develops its own unique expression. The result is a piece that feels both familiar and singular — a chair shaped not only by design and craftsmanship, but also by the character of the material itself.

The designers / TAF
Stockholm-based TAF Studio was founded in 2002 by Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom, who began collaborating while studying at Konstfack. Working across furniture, lighting and interiors, the studio finds inspiration in everyday objects, familiar materials and details that might otherwise go unnoticed. Their approach combines straightforward solutions with unexpected ideas and a quiet sense of humour. In 2017, TAF received the Bruno Mathsson Prize.
