Björn Dahlström

Björn Dahlström founded his design studio in 1982. Initially he worked in graphic design, but soon began creating physical objects, often marked by a distinctly graphic expression. His award-winning armchair BD1, which caused a sensation when it was launched in Milan in 1994, resembles a cheerful comma. Superstructure, which is part of the Fogia collection, carries a similar graphic simplicity within its complexity.
