Embrace Lounge Chair, Large
Embrace brings to mind a newly opened tulip rather than a traditional wingback chair – calm, sheltered and exceptionally comfortable.
About
The Embrace Lounge Chair Large is a contemporary interpretation of the classic wingback chair – an archetype that embodies the very idea of a truly comfortable armchair, placed beside a fireplace or in a dimly lit library. The form itself, with its generous wings that gently envelop the body, not only helps to maximise comfort but also creates a sense of seclusion. The lounge chair is also available in a more compact version, the Embrace Lounge Chair Small.

The designers / Norm Architects
Norm Architects is a Copenhagen-based design studio founded in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn. Working across architecture, interiors and furniture, the studio explores how materials, spaces and objects shape our everyday experiences.
Their approach draws on simplicity, natural materials and an awareness of the senses. Rather than seeing minimalism as a matter of removing things, Norm Architects considers what remains: the feel of a surface, the balance of a proportion and the atmosphere a space creates.
