Flora Podium

Sometimes the smallest details make a difference. What began as a collaboration between Fogia, Oslo-based chef and restaurateur Esben Holmboe Bang of Maaemo, and design studio Grung Engesvik to create a dining chair also led to an unexpected companion. Flora Podium was conceived as a place for guests to rest their handbags while dining at Maaemo. Sharing the Flora Armchair's considered proportions and quiet character, it brings the same attention to form and function to a smaller piece of furniture. A simple idea, thoughtfully realised.
