Here, the sturdy and slightly angular frame in solid oak is combined with a seat and backrest in moulded oak plywood, softly rounded in form to make the chair comfortable to sit in. Mono Wood Chair is classic in its expression, with a subtle cubist character that highlights the inherent qualities of oak. Mono Wood Chair is designed by Note and crafted by Fogia’s woodworkers for longevity, suited to a variety of environments — at home around the dining table as well as in restaurants and cafés. The chair is available in several finishes: natural oak, smoked oak, black stained oak, and laquered oak.

Stockholm-based Note is a multidisciplinary design studio with a curiosity for challenging the familiar. Working across furniture, interiors and architecture, the studio brings different perspectives together, allowing ideas to develop through experimentation and conversation.
Their approach is thoughtful but never too serious. There's room for play, unexpected details and unusual combinations of materials. Fogia has collaborated with Note since 2013, exploring how furniture can balance comfort and character while finding new possibilities in the way materials, shapes and people meet.
