About
Figurine is a tribute to wood – to the material’s inherent beauty as well as its potential, explored here by the design studio Note together with Fogia’s craftspeople. The Figurine Chair is characterised by cabinetmaking of the very highest standard, with joints and gently curved lines that naturally draw the eye. The chair is robust, with legs in solid oak, and made to last for many years. At the same time, it never appears in the least clumsy. On the contrary, it is distinguished by an effortless elegance: the result of both craftsmanship and design being carried out with the utmost care.

Stockholm-based Note is a multidisciplinary design studio with a curiosity for challenging the familiar. Working across furniture, interiors and architecture, the studio brings different perspectives together, allowing ideas to develop through experimentation and conversation.
Their approach is thoughtful but never too serious. There's room for play, unexpected details and unusual combinations of materials. Fogia has collaborated with Note since 2013, exploring how furniture can balance comfort and character while finding new possibilities in the way materials, shapes and people meet.
