Tiki Single-Seater Large
The inspiration for Tiki comes from Kon-Tiki — the raft that Thor Heyerdahl sailed to Polynesia in 1947. This can be seen, among other things, in the shape of the back cushion and armrests, which echo Kon-Tiki’s sail when filled with wind.
About
When the Tiki sofa was launched in 2014, it immediately aroused considerable curiosity among design enthusiasts. Tiki is elegant in that characteristically nonchalant way that is impossible to imitate. Today, over ten years later, much suggests that Tiki has joined the small and exclusive group of furniture that never feels like yesterday’s news, but whose relevance instead increases over time. The Tiki Lounge Chair, like the sofa, is an exceptionally well-built and comfortable piece of furniture.

The designer / Andreas Engesvik
A designer is someone who looks at the world of objects with curiosity, seeking to understand how things work, while also noticing what is missing and what could be improved. This curiosity is clearly seen in Andreas Engesvik’s work. He explores new ways of approaching materials and making use of their properties – always with a strong focus on what it is like to use and live with the furniture he creates. Take Bollo, for example – a bold piece of furniture, certainly, yet at the same time a pleasure to sit in. A little like a slightly eccentric outfit that fits perfectly, making you feel both comfortable and special at once.
