Inspired by classic rope making, Ropemaker is woven from wool and jute for a textural integrity that creates a strong impression in any room. Designed with TAF Studio.
It is edged with twisted cords, with a generous thickness underfoot. Its blend of durable wool and rustic jute ensures both a timeless design and a long life. Ropemaker comes in three colourways; warm red, stone and a speckled cream and black. Slight variations of colour and tone leave a lively, flecked appearance that is full of life.

We looked at different types of ropes and string. The way that ropes and string are twisted and braided is interesting and we wanted to emphasize this in Ropemaker by using threads in varying color, material and thickness. We also wanted to convey the tensile strength of a twisted rope both visually and tangibly in the rug.
